Which currency balance will be deducted for spending?

Your card is linked to a specific account balance in a chosen currency. When you make a purchase, the amount will be deducted from that balance. If the transaction is in a different currency, it will be automatically converted using the ECB reference rate, adjusted with Mastercard’s currency conversion fees, at the time the transaction is processed.
