How do I get a Spendbase Card?

Getting a Spendbase Card
To create virtual cards, your company must first complete verification and have an active payment account. If you’re unsure how to open a payment account, please see our guide: How do I open a payment account on Spendbase platfrom?

You can apply for a Spendbase Card for yourself or a team member once your account is confirmed. Just follow these simple steps:
        1. Log in to the platform and go to the Money section.
        2. Click Create card.
        3. Choose the team member the card is for and select the account the funds will be pulled from.
        4. Assign a nickname like “Marketing Budget” or “Travel Expenses.” If you leave it blank, the cardholder can set one later.
        5. Choose which account will be linked to the card for spending.
        6. Click Issue card to complete the process.
        7. For the first card, an additional activation step is required before it becomes available.

First card activation
If this is the first card you are creating, an additional activation step is required after the card is issued. During this activation, you will need to verify your personal information and phone number. Once the information is submitted, we will verify it, and the card will become available only after successful verification. You can also download the mobile app and complete the activation process in advance — even before creating your first card.

Delivery Timelines
        • If this is your first card, it will become available right after a short KYC verification process.
        • Once you’ve passed KYC, all future cards will be available immediately after issuing.
