How to integrate the app for Slack?

Only Slack workspace admins can install the Spendbase app for Slack.

Steps:
1. Log in or sign up for your Spendbase account as a team admin.
2. Navigate to Integrations → Slack.
3. Click "Connect" on Slack.
4. Choose your workspace and authorize the app.

Once the integration is complete, the app will be available to everyone in your Slack workspace. There is no need for individual installation.

Submitting a Request in Slack

After installing the app, any user with an email domain matching your company account can submit requests.

Steps:
1. Open Slack.
2. Find Spendbase under the Apps section in the left sidebar.
3. Click the Home tab.
4. Hit the Submit Request button.
5. Fill out the request form.
6. Click Submit.

The request will appear in your Home tab with its status and history. You’ll also receive Slack updates about its progress.

Approving or Declining Requests in the app for Slack

When a request is submitted, the designated approver receives a notification directly using the app for Slack.

Steps:
1. Go to the Spendbase app for Slack.
2. Open the Messages tab.
3. Locate the approval notification.
4. Choose Approve or Decline.

• Approve: The request moves to the next approver or is fully approved.
• Decline: The request is marked as declined, and the process stops.
