What if I spend money in a currency I don’t have in my account?

If you make a purchase in a currency that’s not available in the account linked to your card, the amount will be automatically converted. The conversion is based on the ECB reference rate, with an additional Mastercard currency conversion fee applied at the time of the transaction.
