What currency rates do you use?

Currency conversions are based on the European Central Bank (ECB) reference rate, with an adjustment applied according to Mastercard’s currency conversion fee. This combined rate is used at the time the transaction is processed.

The final amount you’re charged may vary slightly depending on market fluctuations and the specific Mastercard rate at that moment.

You’ll be able to see the applicable conversion rate during transaction confirmation.
