OneLogin Integration

Overview

Connecting OneLogin with Spendbase gives you centralized visibility into your workforce and the applications connected to your identity provider.

Why do you need to connect the integration?

  1. Get a complete view of your organization
Automatically sync first name, last name, email, and last activity for all users in OneLogin. This removes the need for manual exports.
  2. Track app usage with OneLogin SSO
See which applications are linked to OneLogin and when employees last accessed them. This helps you identify unused accounts or apps that should be deprovisioned.
  3. Manage costs more effectively
Detect inactive users or applications and reallocate or remove licenses, ensuring your SaaS spend is optimized.
  4. Maintain data accuracy
By mapping users and their sign-in history, you gain better control over who has access to corporate systems, which supports both compliance and security audits.
  5. Ensure secure access
Data from OneLogin is automatically refreshed daily, so your reports and dashboards are always up to date.

What data do we pull?

  • A unified list of users with names, emails, and avatars
  • Full visibility into apps: which services are accessed via OneLogin SSO and when they were last used

Automatic data updates without manual exports

How does it work?

  • The integration uses Client Credentials authentication (Client ID + Client Secret) rather than OAuth scopes.

  • It is read-only: Spendbase will never make changes in your OneLogin account.

  • After entering credentials, an initial sync is triggered (may take from a couple of seconds up to ~30 minutes).

  • Data is refreshed automatically (usually daily or at regular intervals) to keep information current.

Connection steps

    1. Navigate to the Integrations page
    2. Click 'Connect' at the OneLogin widget
    3. After that, you will see the following pop-up
    4. To find the Client ID and Client Secret, please go to your OneLogin Account to the tab API Credentials

Press the New Credential, and in the pop-up please enter the following information:

After pressing the Save button, you will find the Client ID and Secret. Please copy them and enter them into your Spendbase account to connect OneLogin.

    How to verify the sync?

    The widget status will show:
    • Getting data – sync in progress
    • Active – data successfully synced
    • You will also receive an in-app notification once the sync is complete
    • The pulled data will appear on the pages Employee, Applications, and Insights
    • From then on, data will be automatically refreshed once per day

    How to disconnect?

    1. Open the OneLogin widget
    2. Click Disconnect
