# Access Spendbase account
Navigating team membership is a fundamental aspect of managing your Spendbase account effectively. It's important to understand the scope and limitations of team memberships.
### Single Team Membership per Email
**Primary Rule**:
- At Spendbase, each user can be associated with only one team per email account. This means that the email address used to sign up or to accept an invitation to Spendbase is uniquely tied to a single team.
**Implications for Team Members**:
- Once a team member accepts an invitation to join a team using their email, they cannot use the same email address to join another team.
- This ensures clear delineation of roles and responsibilities, preventing conflicts and confusion that might arise from having the same user across multiple teams.
### Access Restrictions for Invited Team Members
**Uniform Access**:
- All invited team members are granted access only to the team they were invited to. They can access data, perform tasks, and manage resources within the permissions of their designated roles in that specific team.
- This model reinforces security and maintains the integrity of data management within the platform.
### IDP Integration Across Multiple Teams
**Flexible Integration**:
- Unlike individual user accounts, an Identity Provider (IdP) such as Google Workspace, Microsoft, or Okta can be connected to multiple teams simultaneously on Spendbase.
- This allows for seamless user management across different teams within the same organization, making it easier to manage larger organizations with diverse teams.
